What We're Looking For

Feathered Serpent Press is actively seeking work that pushes boundaries. Our primary focus is Speculative Fiction, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy — but genre is a starting point, not a ceiling. What matters most is the strength of your voice.

We have no word count minimum. We're open to:

• Flash fiction collections

• Novelettes and novellas

• Full-length novels

• Genre-bending work that defies easy categorization

If the story is compelling and the writing is serious, we want to see it.

Submissions & Timeline

Our editorial team reads every submission with care. We're a small press — we move deliberately, not quickly. Here's what to expect:

• Initial query response: 4–6 weeks

• Full manuscript review (if requested): 2–3 months

• Simultaneous submissions: accepted — but notify us immediately if you receive an offer elsewhere

No response after 12 weeks? A polite nudge is welcome.
